Episode 1: And so it begins...

Works in progress:

Secret project for Blueruin! (I kinda give away what it might be...oops!)
The secret project is contained in a bag from Simbiosis by Julia.

Finished objects:

Hippo by Susan B. Anderson
Andrea's Shawl by Kirsten Kapur

New Stuff:

Malabrigo Rios in Archangel & Lantern Moon Needle Case purchased at Yarn Dance in Bemidji, MN
Awesome swap package from BitsyKnits, including her hand-dyed yarn, handspun yarn, and lovely Seasprite soap! I can't seem to find the site...perhaps they are going through some changes?
Illuminations Colorwork Sock club (by Janel Laidman) June shipment (which is housed in a cute little apple-printed bag from HanaPurse)
Needle Roll from Guatemala

Random Stuff:

Dialects are awesome.
Camp Loopy Project Two: cabled socks, gloves, or mittens
I am 853.5 yards into the Knitgirllls stash dash...better get my butt in gear!
I started reading When the Ground Turns in its Sleep by Sylvia Sellers Garcia.

I enjoyed your show! You gave us lots of good stuff (links) to go look at.

I am also (unfortunately) an unemployed teacher with very few job openings too. Good luck!

Good luck on finding a teaching job. Have you thought about subbing? Love your podcast and look forward to the next. Your oooos were not as obvious as some I have heard. In my part of the country, it's not just the oooos that identify us!! Your shawl is just beautiful!

I really enjoyed your show. Re lighting: it did reflect in your glasses. The content was interesting, well delivered and I will definitely watch the next episode.

Great show. I didnt notice any "o"s either but I do enjoy listening to different accents. The lighting did reflect in your glasses a bit but I am sure there is a solutionj. Your shawl is absolutely gorgeous and I am sure your grandma will absolutely love it. I do hope her husband can get better. Looking forward to episode 2!

I enjoyed your video and I'm adding you to my video watching list.

I love your shawl and I also watch The Big Bang Theory.

I had a problem with my glasses reflecting in my videos too. I just moved my camera to the side and the glare was gone. Just try moving your camera around a little, and you should be able to find a good spot.
